David Arant, Jr.

David Arant, Jr., was raised and currently resides in Ruleville, Mississippi. David grew up on his family’s farm in Ruleville, Mississippi, and started working at an early age on the operation.  In the summers David spent his time working in the rice and soybean fields and running a dirt pan.  He graduated from Mississippi State in 2006 with a degree in Civil Engineering and worked as an engineer for six years designing subdivisions, landfills, and water wells.  In 2012, David came back to the family farm and started farming with his father and uncle.  They produce corn, soybeans, and rice.  In addition to growing crops, David is focused on soil and water conservation and works with the NRCS to implement best practices to maximize the available resources. David is active in Farm Bureau and serves on various boards in the community.  In 2021, he obtained his real estate license and worked for Partnership Properties in Cleveland, Mississippi, before coming to Agriworld in 2023.

David is married to Rebekkah, who is the academic dean at Bayou Academy, and they have three boys, Carver, Walker, and Hunter. They are active members at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cleveland, Mississippi.
