RiCh Aust, AFM

Rich Aust was born and raised in Clarksdale Mississippi on a cotton and soybean farm. After graduation from Lee Academy, he attended Mississippi State University where he obtained degrees in Agriculture and Banking and Finance. He also completed all eight semesters of Army ROTC and was commissioned in 1983. He obtained his MBA from Delta State University in 1999. He is also a graduate of the Southern Trust School in Mobile, Alabama.
Upon Graduation from MSU he accepted a position with First South Production Credit

Association where he worked all types of agricultural loans throughout the Central Mississippi region from 1986 -1996.

In 1996 he joined the staff of Capital Agricultural Property Services in both the Greenville and Memphis Offices where he worked with Stacey Gillison. In 2005 he joined the Trust and Wealth Management Division of Regions Bank where he went on to spend over 19 years as a trust department farm manager.

He served over 24 years in the U. S. Army Reserve retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel with mobilizations and active duty during Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom.

He is married to Terry Obert Aust who is retired from Mississippi State University where she spent over 25 years as a mathematics instructor and professor of business statistics.

Terry and Rich are members of Germantown United Methodist Church where they are
active in stewardship, missions, and Sunday School instruction and teaching.

Rich holds the Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) designation and is a licensed real estate broker in Mississippi.
